Shimano Road Wheel Test Ride
Sunday, July 12, 2009, 9:00 am, at Bikes & Beans we will be having the Shimano Rep. follow us on the Sunday morning ride with a bunch of Shimano wheels to test ride. These wheels will include the Dura Ace Carbon clinchers, Dura Ace Carbons, Dura Ace Scandium tubeless, amoung others. They will have 10 speed cassettes mounted, but we will bring along some 9 speed cassettes and switch them towards the end of the ride in case there is anyone riding a 9 speed system that would like to try them out.

Great ride - 100km in the rain. A few brave souls turned out for this character building ride. The bikes need a major clean-up after but on the plus side - those that showed up got a pair of Shimano wheels to use so they did not need to clean their own wheels or cassette. Thanks again to Guy Pellerin (Shimano rep) for coming out with the wheels.
